Toast Hospitality was founded by industry expert Leo De Bartolo in 2023, who after leaving the UK and his permanent role as Operations Director to Marco Pierre White Restaurants, moved back with his family to his native Melbourne.

As an endorsement of his integrity, initiative and drive, Leo continues to provide consultancy services at an Operations Director level to Black and White Hospitality, who own the restaurant franchise rights to the Marco Pierre White branded concepts in the United Kingdom.

Leo has successfully operated and supported many renowned brands across various customer-focused sectors across both continents. He is proud to have worked at every level of the industry he loves, holding various roles, from waiter, to restaurant and venue manager, then finding his niche in multi-site operations.

Having acquired vast industry knowledge, this has culminated in the appointment of his most recent senior Regional, National, and Operations Director roles. Sharing his passion, integrity, and enthusiasm for people development, customer experience, and business relationships, his delivery has yielded a proven track record for building strong teams and turning businesses around.
